I would feel very comfortable and confident that NCD causes no harm and will not interfere with other medications. As you are watching and working closely with your vet you can monitor the medications to reduce as necessary. Toxins likely play a significant part in your cat's illness. To that degree, once toxins are removed, her body can begin to heal. If you have been hesitating to give NCD, I hope you will reconsider. You can obviously begin with a single drop and give NCD to her several times throughout the day. Though this dose might not be enough for her at first, it will likely be enough for you to see that no harm is done. Once you have established that, go for it! Increase the drops and frequency throughout the day. Keep us posted. I have a cat that is the first phase of heart failure. I have her on furosemide (lasicx),and diltiazem. I know that at some point I will lose her. I have brought her back 3 times from decompensation.
